Mold: The Hidden Root Cause of Complex Illness
03/22/2026
🏠 Could Mold Exposure Be the Missing Piece in Your Health Journey?
This one-hour educational talk explores the often-overlooked connection between mold, mycotoxins, and chronic, complex illness.
You’ll learn how hidden exposure can quietly keep you from fully healing — even when you're doing “everything right.”
We’ll cover:
How to test your home accurately
What results actually mean
The practical next steps if mold is part of your story
👥 Who Should Attend?
This talk is for you if:
You have a chronic, complex, or “mysterious” illness without clear answers
You live, work, or attend school in a water-damaged building
You or a loved one have symptoms conventional medicine can’t fully explain
You’re doing everything right — drinking clean filtered water, eating a nutrient-dense diet (gluten-, dairy-, sugar-free), going to sleep on time, exercising, getting sunshine, cultivating strong relationships, living with purpose — and still don’t feel well
If you’ve optimized your lifestyle and are still struggling, mold may be the missing link.
🎓 What You’ll Walk Away With
A clear understanding of mold and mycotoxin illness
The most common symptoms — including (at the top of the list) a dysregulated nervous system
How to test properly — so you’re not guessing
The gold-standard approach to home mycotoxin testing
How to choose qualified inspectors and remediation professionals you can trust
Why a dysregulated nervous system can block healing
Practical next steps to begin improving your health
After being diagnosed with early rheumatoid arthritis, I became determined to help my body heal by focusing on nutrition and lifestyle changes. Through intentional, consistent effort, I successfully resolved my symptoms and normalized my lab results.
Inspired by this progress, I decided to go back to school for a masters in nutrition to understand healing on a deeper level. I continued to improve and corrected other chronic conditions, including endometriosis, fibrocystic breasts, depression, chronic sinusitis, panic attacks, and esophageal reflux. While I experienced significant healing, I still struggled with insomnia, histamine intolerance, food sensitivities and anxiety.
At that point, a mentor encouraged me to explore mold exposure as a possible root cause. This led me to test both my house and myself for mold-related illness. The results confirmed elevated mold levels in our home. After fully remediating our environment and undergoing treatment for mycotoxin illness, I began experiencing a new and deeper level of health.
During this time, I also began working at the Brain Spa, where I incorporated weekly neurofeedback sessions into my routine. This became another powerful tool in my healing journey, and my health has continued to improve.
Now in my 50s, I have more energy than at any other time in my life. I am pain-free and feel grounded in hope, peace, and joy.
With over 15 years of experience teaching barre, yoga, and meditation, along with a recent 6 month mentorship with Dr. Christine Schaffner, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work—supporting others in creating sustainable, transformative health from the inside out.

Mini Tarot Readings — Tap Into Your Inner Knowing
Join us for an intuitive, reflective tarot experience designed to help you hear yourself more clearly.
These mini readings are not about predicting the future — they’re about presence, curiosity, and connecting with the deeper threads already moving through your life. Tarot becomes a mirror: a way of revealing what feels tender, what’s ready to grow, and what’s quietly calling for your attention.
Your practitioner is both a psychic and somatic guide who uses the cards as a framework for exploration — never to tell you what will happen, but to help you uncover what you truly know. Together, you’ll look at the themes, patterns, and possibilities that want to be seen.
Think of it as a collaborative conversation. A moment of honesty.
A gentle pause to reconnect with your intuition and leave feeling grounded, validated, and more attuned to yourself.
Perfect for anyone who’s seeking clarity, direction, or simply a meaningful moment of self-reflection.
From Allyson: I love the tarot. I view the cards as a way to show us through-lines in our lives; as a tool to be generously honest with ourselves about who we are and what we want. I am a psychic and somatic practitioner. I don't tell the future. I don't live in the future. I use these cards to explore what is tender, what is burgeoning, what is calling to you in your life. I'm here to help you get your own answers. Think of the reading as a collaboration between you and me, a space for us to see each other clearly and revel in the truth and vulnerability that brings.
