Brain Spa Community Fund
Our Mission:
Our non-profit provides access to life-changing services to those who can’t otherwise afford them. Our cutting-edge technologies are helpful to people suffering from a wide variety of concerns such as stress, anxiety, traumatic brain injury, ADHD, chronic health conditions, and more. We believe that neurofeedback and other holistic modalities should be accessible to all.
Our mission when opening the Brain Spa was to provide affordable neurofeedback to the community. After having a private practice for many years, we found that sometimes the clients who needed neurofeedback the most couldn’t afford it. Our vision for the Brain Spa was to create a space to provide neurofeedback in a community setting which would allow us to offer it for a lower price. While our community neurofeedback prices are at half the price of our regular rates, we realize that it can still be out of reach for some people.
How It Works:
In the donation form below, please select a cause of your choice and an amount.
When clients seek scholarship funds, your donation can be applied to a specific cause or demographic. If you prefer your donation to go to our general fund, we can designate it as needed. We have some examples of what our costs are to offer the services.
We would love to be able to give a whole 6-week life-changing package to someone who needs it, but even one neurofeedback session for a stressed-out teacher or anxious student can have an impact.
Who We Help:
Students
We are raising funds to install neurofeedback in the JMP Mental Wellness Center so that students have access to it at no cost at their school without the worry of transportation logistics. We will also offer no cost neurofeedback to other student who are able to come to the Brain Spa but not able to afford the sessions.
Chronic Health Conditions
Veterans
Teachers
The teachers and the support staff at our schools are holding it together every day to be models of healthy stress management and emotional regulation for the youth who spend their days in their care. When the adults are calm and regulated, the students can be more calm and regulated as they co-regulate. Supporting our teachers with their own stress management and mental heath can have the largest impact on supporting our youth.

Our Why:
As neurofeedback providers for many years, we have seen people in our community who couldn’t pay for our services. We witnessed the impact that neurofeedback was having on people who were suffering. The Brain Spa was opened with the intention to offer community neurofeedback sessions and reduce the cost to allow access to more people. While it has been helpful for more people to afford it, we want to expand our reach to those most in need.
Brain Spa co-owner, Angela was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was a young mother. She was unable to work due to the debilitating side effects of chemotherapy. She was fortunate to be surrounded by family and friends who supported her. They helped her to pay for holistic health services during and after treatment. She discovered neurofeedback after her cancer treatments which helped to resolve chemo brain, sleep issues and all of the mental emotional impact of cancer treatments. It was unbelievable how much it helped her to get her life back.
Angela started a business to offer neurofeedback to others and found that cancer survivors often could not afford to come on a regular basis after the expense of going through cancer treatments. Giving back to the cancer community is a huge passion at the Brain Spa because of Angela’s personal experience. The custom cancer recovery program was designed based on her experience of working with that demographic for many years.
Co-Owner Carleigh witnessed her mother suffer from a lifetime of unresolved trauma, chronic depression, addiction, and debilitating chronic pain until her early death caused by toxic medication interactions that were not responsibly handled by her doctors. Carleigh has a passion for curating alternative wellness modalities to help those stuck in the same cycle that her mother was stuck in and to make them affordable to those like her mother that could never afford the interventions that actually work.

While one-off sessions can help you feel relaxed, we see the most profound results when people train consistently, 1-2 times per week.
Our community neurofeedback sessions are already discounted at $65 but we are committed to making the neurofeedback as affordable as possible to those who need it most.
$40A 10-week recovery package including lymphatic massage, neurofeedback, and NanoVi. Enough sessions to really make a difference.

$900Testimonials:
For the past six months, I've been regularly doing neurofeedback training at the Bay Area Brain Spa–at a discounted price for teachers–and have experienced marked, noticeable changes in my levels of anxiety, stress, and overall mental well-being. Often, after sessions and for some time after, I'll have a much greater degree of equanimity and poise–specifically in social situations–that I often had a hard time cultivating otherwise.
I highly recommend The Bay Area Brain Spa and neurofeedback for any and all teachers–and non-teachers!
